Billy Krawczyk Encouragement Award

Established in 1982 following the passing of Billy Krawczyk in 1981 at the age of 24 following a diving accident. His untimely death at such a young age led to the club establishing a perpetual trophy in his honour as an encouragement award for outstanding youth players that show promise. Billy started playing for the senior team in 1975 and was part of the team that won the 1975 premiership and 1978 Ampol and Cadbury Cups.

Joe Udovicic U16 Encouragement Award

Established in 1986 following the passing of Joe Udovicic in 1985 as an encouragement award for outstanding junior players (u16) that show promise. Joe was part of the Croatia-Glenorchy team that dominated Tasmanian soccer during the 1970’s and in a club that boasted many quality goalkeepers, he is regarded as the best.

Vin McKay Best Club Person

Established in 1993 after the passing of Vin Mckay in 1992. Vin was a successful business owner who provided many donations and support for the club over many years. He was appointed the club patron in 1960, a position he held for 32 years.

Milan Lakoseljac Top Goal Scorer Award

Established in 2000 after the passing of Milan Lakoseljac in 1999 at the age of 52 to recognise future top goal scorers at the club. Milan was the leading goal scorer in 1971, 1973, 1974, 1979 and 1981 and won the club best-and fairest award in 1973. He was part of the 1970 side that won the ‘grand slam’ of Tasmanian soccer being the State title, Ampol Cup and Southern Premiership. Milan represented Tasmania on many occasions and was invited as a guest player for Sydney Croatia on a tour of Canada and America. When he retired from playing he started coaching juniors, reserves and the seniors to a premiership win in 1992. In 2000, the Statewide Cup in Tasmania was renamed the Lakoseljac Cup.

Peter Huigsloot Most Dedicated Player

Established in 2001 following the passing of Peter Huigsloot. Peter first started playing for the club in the under 14s in 1975 and by 1979, he was playing for the senior team and remained with the club before joining PO Saints in the latter part of his career. The trophy was established to honour others who show the same dedication to the club both on and off the field as Peter did.

Womens Outstanding Achievement Award

Established in 2003 to recognise female players for any achievement through the season considered to be outstanding. The award was donated by Ivan Stefanovic, a life member and strong supporter of womens football.

Stipo Majic Memorial

Established in 2012 following the passing of Stipo Majic, one of the founding members of the club in 1957 and life member. The award is to recognise the most improved senior player.

Youth Sportsperson Award

Established in 2016 for a youth player who possesses outstanding qualities of ability, fairness and general attitude to football both on and off the field. The award was donated by Warren Ross.

Michael Furjanic Memorial Award

Established in 2019 for the senior best and fairest player following the passing of Michael Furjanic OAM in 2018. The award replaced the Patrons Award, previously established in 2003 by Michael Furjanic for the best senior player. Michael was a former player, president, patron and life member of the club which he helped establish in 1957. He also made a significant contribution nationally by starting the Croatian Soccer Association of Australia (CSAA) in 1974 and the annual Croatian Soccer Tournament. Michael was made President for Life of the CSAA in 1989 and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
