The Glenorchy Knights Football Club Constitution states that the basic object of the Association is to promote the game of football in Hobart. The Club particularly focuses on the Northern Suburbs region for its player base.
The Club's main aim is to promote a positive environment for its members to participate in their chosen sport at youth and senior levels.
The club encourages and promotes the principal of a healthy body and healthy mind.
The club is currently represented by teams of men and women from Premier Leagues through to Social Divisions. The club is committed to development of youth and nurturing our young players to their full potential. By 2010 the club aims to have teams in every Youth division.
The club is built strongly around the family unit and encourages the involvement all members of the family.
The club embraces the community of Glenorchy and greater Northern Suburbs of Hobart through sport and social activities and encourages a sense of community pride.
